ASLSC (Automated Speed Limit System for Cars)
Hoping that someone will see this posts and might be interested by projects like this one, I will start today to describe my personal Automotive Projects.
The first project is ASLSC (Automated Speed Limit System for Cars)
Details:
1. It is based on a send-receive system.
2. Cars will have both an emitter and a receiver.
3. The primary Emitters will be set before the speed limits on the roads.
4. The system activates the car braking system, depending on the signals received.
Advantages:
1. Going over the speed limit at a big difference will be stoped. The speed of the car can be bigger than the speed limit only for 1 minute (enought time for overtaking in emergancy cases)
2. In case of an accident or car problemms, the emiter from the trobled car will automaticaly send a signal and the cars in proxymity will have theyre speed reduced to a certain speed. This function will drop chain accidents rates to almost none.
3. At the street crossing cars will be slowed and eventually stoped, depending on some conditions.
4. The system will adapt to the weather conditions and to the road type.
5. The system doesn't need satellite update. The updates will be done automatically, when changing the speed limits and other conditions.
6. The accident rates will drop drastically (theoretical by more than 50%).
Disadvantages:
1. All the road legal cars will have to have the system installed
2. The implementation of the system will take more than a couple off years.
3. The costs are very high.
4. The implementation implicates governments approvals and law changes.
I know that this project is very expensive and almost impossible to implement, but the advantages it gives us are even bigger ...
